The Pencil Cactus (Euphorbia tirucalli) is native to semi-arid tropical regions of Africa and India. Pencil Cactus have quite an interesting figure. When the plant is young and small, it resembles a plant coming from an underwater world. Its stems forming in the shape and size of pencils growing out like branches of a tree. After it grows bigger in size they tend to appear like succulents. Due to their easy-growing nature, Pencil Cacti are very popular ornamental houseplants.
Care:
Make sure the soil is dry between waterings.
This will stop the roots and lower edges of the plant from becoming waterlogged or rotting.
